America Geeks, or as their real Indian company name Geeks Technical Solutions Pvt Ltd located in Sector 82 Mohali is one of the most infamous tech support scam call centers in North India. They are currently facing a lawsuit by Microsoft for fraud and misusing their name. The owners Kunal and Mohit Bansal aswell as Amanpreet Singh Doad have been booked for fraud and a FIR filed against them.

Alot of these photos are shopped. Kunal is in the networking and administration business providing printer support also, as it is a wireless device spectrum. He called it “WDS” networking. Alot of stories come out of India, with little to no evidence, most scam centers are actually based out of the Phillipines, alot of them like to accuse Indian centers as it is a competitive offshore business.
Best of luck!

Hello Julian, the photos are not photoshopped. I’ve verified them. Plus, Julian Brand/Julian Finch is registered as director of the companies in the US, that’s not possible with an alias or a stolen identity. This story is definitely from India as I have been there personally in Chandigarh and verified the details. The evidences are in the photos and the YouTube videos which I’ve posted about Kunal Bansal, Geeks Technical Solutions Pvt Ltd and other persons and companies. You are right, the Phillipines also have call centers and BPO industry, however they are in a different sector: India is more about tech support, Phillippines is more about BPO, tele services etc. I haven’t seen a single tech support scam call center based from there.

Excellent investigative blog, I support this blog! However, check into the Phillipines, they seem to have hidden in the background, and unfortunately, India has been the front for alot of stories.

Thanks! I’d love to look into the Philippines. I once found a robocalling call center in Quezon City. They weren’t pure scam though and I couldn’t find much about them either. If you have any leads or hints on what to research, gladly taking it.

By the way, no joking. I know Kunal from a long time ago, 20 years ago +, from an old school ethical hacking group, GBH, Green Bay Hackers. I had no Idea he was in this industry of ”tech support”.

Maybe that’s another Kunal Bansal then? The one here from Geeks, he’s around 30 years old and he’s a lawyer. He doesn’t really have technical skills and certainly, he’s not a (certified) hacker. I guess it’s another one then.

Don’t trip! Don’t forget to set your sound cards to 128000 hz and others to harmonize your batteries(Air gaps), and beware the creeps out there.

JHu · 6th January 2021 at 05:21

To the creeps out there, that’ll give you something to think about for life.
